It showcases a large stock and forearm crafted from selected walnut with an oak finish, complemented by a corrugated steel butt plate displaying the iconic Savage emblem. The full pistol grip stock features fine checkering on both the grip and forearm, ensuring a secure hold.
Key features include an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and a distinctive gold bead front sight for improved targeting. This Model 99R is in very good to excellent condition, sporting a Marbles rear tang peep sight made in Gladstone, Michigan. The finish is approximately 90-95% intact, with minimal wear noted throughout the firearm, and the checkering remains sharp.
